Margaret McDowell Earls, 78, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010 at Carillon Assisted Living in Lincolnton, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeter Elmer McDowel Sr. and Margaret Esther Kirby McDowell, her husband, Warren Earls and brothers Elmer Jr., George and Roy McDowell.
Survivors include three sons, Stacy, David, and Rodney Earls; two grandsons, Brandon and Derrick; sister, Tessie M. Hanley; brother, Charlie (Gladys) McDowell; special nieces, Ann Roberts and Jeanine Carpenter; and several nephews.
Private graveside services will be held.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 107 N. Cedar St., Lincolnton, NC 28092
