Maria Esther Conner, 88, passed away May 24, 2014 at Montrose Bay Nursing Home.
She was a native of Ecuador and lived in Fairhope for much of her adult life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Conner.
Esther is survived by a brother, Angel von Buchwald (Mercy); a sister, Ana Luisa von Buchwald (aka sister Maria Germana); and nieces and nephews, all in Ecuador; a grandaughter, Ann Conner Hodges; and a great-granddaughter, Andrea Eden Hodges.
A memorial service will be held June 20, 2014, at 11 a.m., at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope.
