Marie Catherine Tschanz King, 88, a life-long resident of Foley, died Friday March 11, 2011 at a local hospital.
She was a member of Vernant Park Baptist Church, and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Horace E. King.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra (Larry) Schaff of Elberta; two sons, Marvin (Jane) King of Foley and Harvey King of Elberta; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many loving family members and friends.
Visitation begins at noon Tuesday, March 15 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, with funeral services at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
