Marie Kennedy, 89, a native of Grand Junction, Colo. and a resident of Robertsdale, passed away June 10, 2013.
Mrs. Kennedy was an active member of the Robertsdale First Baptist Church and the Robertsdale Senior Center.
She loved gardening and the water. She cherished time with her family.
Mrs. Kennedy is survived by five daughters, Patti (Mike) Edwards of Hustonville, Kent., Katherine Hughes of Theodore, Linda Swoboda of Fairhope, Sheila Josey of Pensacola and Billie Ard of Robertsdale; a son, Bobby Kennedy of Robertsdale; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 13, 2013, at 2 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Richard Herbert officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Loxley.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Robertsdale Senior Citizen’s Center, Project Care at Robertsdale First Baptist Church or Greenwood Cemetery, Loxley.
