Marie Rushing Jones, 85, a native of Pensacola, Fla., and a resident of Elberta, died Saturday, April 30, 2011.
She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 252, Pensacola, Fla., for over 50 years. She attended the Greenwood Bible Deliverance Church, Summerdale.
Survivors include two sons, William McCurdy of Robertsdale and Jesse McCurdy of Magnolia Springs; two sisters, Evelyn Gaffney of Pensacola, Fla., and Dollie Maples of Crestview, Fla.; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mack Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 4 at the funeral home with the Rev. Marie Harms officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery, Robertsdale.
