Marietta and Roy Wolf began life together on Feb. 13, 1954 in Wisconsin. However, they celebrated their 60th anniversary with friends and family in Foley, where they moved in 1992 from Waukesha.
Since then, they have been an important part of the Gulf Coast community. Marietta serves on the staff of the Shrimp Festival, volunteers at the Chamber of Commerce and Welcome Center, is a member of the Friends of the Library in Gulf Shores and Our Lady of the Gulf Altar Society.
Roy ushers at Mass, leads the Rosary on Wednesdays and Sundays and is a member of the Knights of Columbus. He also works in the accounting office at Gulf State Park.
The Wolfs are proud parents of Mary Kay Melster and Mark Wolf. They have four grandchildren, Caitlin, Jennifer, Matthew and Steven, and three great grandchildren, Isabella, Sofia and Calvin.
