Marjorie Maynard Banks, 91, a resident of Silverhill passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2013.
She was an avid animal lover who always could light up a dark room with her bright warm smile.
Mrs. Banks is survived by her daughter, Linda (Dwight) Pelfrey of Silverhill; four sons, Lee (Diane) Banks of New York, Stephen (Kathryn) Dorsett of South Carolina, Bobby Banks of Chalmette, La. and Dale (Beverly) Banks of Grand Cayman Island; a brother, Julian (Sherry) Maynard of Montgomery; a devoted grandson, Ryan Pelfrey of Silverhill; a special friend, Pat Box of Silverhill; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 1, 2013 at Silverhill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 9 until 9:30 a.m., at Mack Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to The Haven, 559 S. Section St., Fairhope, AL 36532.
