ORANGE BEACH, Ala. – The Orange Beach Business Advisory Committee will meet this afternoon to discuss a Market Days Christmas Campaign from Nov. 28 through Dec. 13.

“Tomorrow at 1:30 in this in this room we will decide on Christmas Market Days and all of the benefits that go along with that,” Yolanda Devine-Johnson, chairperson of the committee, said at an Orange Beach City Council meeting on Tuesday. “That is every business, organization and church which is invited to be here.

“Let everyone you do business with know that they need to be here. What this is about is a campaign for us to help each other: businesses doing business with each other and referring other businesses. It’s a great time for community in the business community. “

The committee’s first effort, Market Days … Catch the Orange Beach Experience, was held Oct. 6 through Oct. 16 to bring Orange Beach to the attention of visitors attending the Shrimp Festival and Thunder on the Gulf.

The effort was started by the Orange Beach Business Advisory Committee which, according to an application available to all businesses, “commits to marketing this campaign through news outlets, websites and facebook postings.“
