On Feb. 16, Marley Gibson, author of the Teen series, Ghost Huntress, will be visiting FMS.  Her husband, host of the TruTV channels Haunting Evidence, will also be talking to the students.  Students will have an opportunity to hear the writers speak during a 7th grade assembly and an 8th grade assembly.  In addition, there will be two Up Close sessions in the library where selected students will have a chance to visit with the authors. A very few lucky students will also get to eat lunch with Marley and Patrick.

Marley's books in the Ghost Huntress series are The Awakening. The Guidance, The Reason, The Counseling and The Discovery.  These are all ghost stories, but she has another book about to be published titled Radiate which is based  on her battle with cancer as a high school student.  Patrick and Marley have co- authored along with Dave Schrader the book On the Other Side: A Teen's Guide to Ghost Hunting.

Students will have a chance to buy the books and have them autographed during the author visit. A price list will be given to the students in advance of the presentations.

Ghost stories are always popular in our library so we are looking forward to a hauntingly good time with these two authors. Parents are welcome to attend. Just contact Ms. Norman @ 943-1255 for details.  If you would like to learn more about Marley Gibson  visit her website at  www.marleygibson.com.
