DAPHNE, Ala.—The Alabama Association of Emergency Managers announced that Daphne Fire Marshal C.P. “Chip” Martin has successfully completed the educational and training requirements leading to the designation as an intermediate level emergency manager.
Certification at the intermediate level entails the completion of 450 hours of core curriculum coursework and 200 hours of optional emergency management-related training.
By this certification, Martin has demonstrated a dedication to the emergency management profession by undertaking and completing this academic endeavor.
Martin has distinguished himself as an emergency management professional and is hereby entitled to use the designation of ILEM following his name, a spokesperson said.
