Mary Alice Farlow Henson, 65, a native of Robertsdale and a resident of Mexia, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010 at Monroe County Hospital.
She was married to Larry Henson, the owner of The Mini Flea Market in Monroeville. She was a member of the Davisville Community Church in Atmore.
She retired from the telephone company after 23 years of service as an operator and was employed with the State of Alabama, Home Health Program at the Monroe County Health Department in Monroeville, where she recently completed 20 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. T.J. “Jake” and Agnes Farlow of Robertsdale; and a brother, Robert Edward Farlow of Mobile.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Ray Henson of Mexia; two sons, Robert Wesley (Teresa) Gibson Sr. of Dothan and Christopher Scott Henson of Robert Lee, Texas; three daughters, Sharon Lewis-Saliba (Tony) of Dothan, Rhonda (Jeff) Price of Sylacauga and Mary (Robert) Lewis of Summerdale; two sisters, Bonnie (Gleason) Peavy of Mexia and Bobbie Lambert of Daphne; and 14 grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. with a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18 at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home, Frisco City.
