Mary D. Melton Kelly, 86, of Seminole, Ala., passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015.
Mrs. Kelly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Leila Head Wilson; husbands, Earl Melton and Virgil Kelly; son, Benjamin Melton; four brothers and two sisters; and she is survived by two granddaughters, Jessica (Richard) Giardina of Robertsdale, Ala., Jennifer Melton of Elberta, Ala.; four great-grandchildren, Parker Cole, Chloe Giardina, Hope Giardina and Kaylee Giardina; four sisters, Irene Melton of Stapleton, Ala., Bobbie Byrd of Stapleton, Ala., Virginia Harris of Wetumpka, Ala. and Margie Blair of Stapleton, Ala.; three brothers, Henry Wilson of Perdido, Ala.; Clyde Wilson of Stapleton, Ala. and Jerrel Wilson of Stapleton, Ala.; and daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Melton of Seminole, Ala.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at 10 a.m., at the Stapleton Baptist Church.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.
Interment will be held in the Stapleton Community Cemetery.
