Mary Ellen Nowicki, 86, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 in Spanish Fort.
She was raised in Toronto, Canada, and was a former resident of Cleveland, Ohio.
In 1962, she married the love of her life, Ralph.
In 1983, they moved to Geneva County, then Summerdale, Fairhope and finally became a resident of Westminster Village in 2008.
Mary loved to meet and get to know people. She never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Ann; and her brother, Bob.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Nowicki of Spanish Fort; and by many friends in the area and at Westminster Village.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne.
A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, in Pensacola. The Rev Matthew J. O’Connor will be the celebrant.
