Mary Lucille White, 95, born in Rabun, and a resident of Perdido, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at her residence.
She is survived by two sons, Billy Max (Jean) White of Splinterhill and Miles Elree “Bo” White of Rabun; four daughters, Mary Elizabeth “Libby” (Wayne) Dean of Lottie, Sandra Sharon “Sandy” (George) Stewart of Rabun, Karen Inez (Hubert) Harville, of Rabun, and Sylvia Ruth (Dale) Roberts of Perdido; one brother, Ray H. Whidbee of Poway, Calif.; two sisters, Ruth Barnett of Bay Minette, and Thursia Long of Rabun; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Feb. 4 at Splinterhill Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. James Peacock and Sister Thursia Long officiating. Burial was at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dewayne Dean, Michael Stewart, Brian Stewart, Billy Roberts, Brandon Roberts, Scott Catrett and Stuart Brantley.
