Mary Rhodes, 74, a native of Warrior, Ala. and a resident of Summerdale, passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014.
Mrs. Rhodes was a founding member of The Bridge Church in Summerdale. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Rhodes is survived by a daughter, Wanda Kicklighter; a son, Mike Jones, both of Summerdale; a sister, Frankie Short of Dothan; a brother, Jerry Russell of Jacksonville, Fla.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at 10 a.m., at The Bridge Church in Summerdale. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be in Greenwood Bible Deliverance Church Cemetery, Summerdale.
