Mary Strehle Zumbrunnen, 84, a resident of Elberta, went to her heavenly home Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014.
Mary was born Jan. 7, 1930. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, affectionately known as “Granny.”
She will be greatly missed by family and friends whose many lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Floyd Strehle and Clyde Zumbrunnen; a son, Lamar Strehle; son-in-law, Avron Sinyard; her parents, Clark & Lula Mae Shutt; four brothers, Randal Shutt, John Shutt, Jimmy Shutt and Johnny Shutt; and two sisters, Gloria Callaway and Evelyn Shutt.
Survivors include her daughters, Pauline (Chris) Petersen and Lue Ann Sinyard, both of Elberta; grandchildren, Travis (Jessica) Strehle, Troy (Dee) Strehle, Devin (Rodney) Ewing, Nolan (Randi) Sinyard and Nathan (Taylor) Petersen; nine great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
The funeral service was held Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014. Interment followed in Pine Rest Memorial Park.
