Mary Sullenger Beckman Douglas, 82, died Friday, April 13, 2012 at her residence in Foley.
Mrs. Douglas was a native of Cullman, and long-time resident of Birmingham. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John “Bud” Beckman and Rollyn Douglas.
She is survived by her son, John (Jan) Beckman, Senoia, Ga.; daughters, Jan (Don) Poe, Birmingham, Joan (David) Dykes, Magnolia Springs, and Terri (Bill) Kormoski, Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; stepdaughter, Lee Ann (Billy) Brown, Birmingham; stepson, Keith (Carrie) Douglas, Marietta, Ga.; sister, Margaret Kansa, Cullman; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Chapel in Magnolia Springs. The visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service. The family suggests memorial contributions to Community Hospice, 2770 South McKenzie St., Foley, AL 36535.
