Mary Susan Dean Head, 89, a native and resident of Stapleton, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014 at her residence.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Janice Styron of Dyas and Donna (Bill) Watts of Foley; seven grandchildren, Shannon (Angie) Styron, Paula Brown, Denice (James) Stabler, Christy (Clem) Seelhorst, Rick (Tina) Watts, Amanda (Jeff) Hite and Matt Watts; and seven great-grandchildren, Cayla Seelhorst, Claire Seelhorst, Harper Hite, Reed Hite, Tyler Watts and Madison and Ashland Stabler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hannis Head; five sisters; and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at 2 p.m., at Stapleton United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bill Watts and the Rev. David Edwards officiating.
Burial will follow at Stapleton Community Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, from 1 until 2 p.m., at Stapleton United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers will be Rick Watts, Matt Watts, James Stabler, Clem Seelhorst, Jeff Hite and Christy Seelhorst.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Stapleton United Methodist Church, 35440 Harriot Ave., Stapleton, AL 36578.
