Barbara Krickel Mason, 63, a native of Mobile, former resident of Fairhope and a resident of Bay Minette, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 in Fairhope, surrounded by all her loved ones.
She was a former member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother and for being a very charitable person.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Barbara Krickel; grandson, Brentson Anthony Davis; and sister, Gail Ozan.
Survivors include her husband of 43 wonderful years, Kenneth Mason of Bay Minette; three daughters, Kim (David) Kleinatland of Bay Minette, Lisa Sams and Hailey (Scott) Boggus, both of Dawsonville, Ga.; sister, Pat Thoss of Navarre, Fla.; stepmother, Ruth Krickel of Foley; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Tuesday, July 27 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, July 28at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Interment followed at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
