Master Sgt. William Allyn McLaughlin (USAFR), 77, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley.
He was born June 17, 1936 in Rockville, Conn.
He served 26 years in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Arlene Beyer McLaughlin of Elberta; a son, Master Sgt. Kevin John McLaughlin (USAFR) and his wife of Silverhill; his brother, Bob McLaughlin and family of Webster, Mass.; two grandsons, Staff Sgt. Robert Allen McLaughlin (USAF) and his wife of Sumter, S.C. and Dustin Warren McLaughlin and his partner of Cartersville, Ga.; a granddaughter, Allison Taylor-Lee Hall of Daphne; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church in Elberta. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the building fund at Shepherd by the Bay Lutheran Church is appreciated.
