Mavis Calvert Johnston, 85, a native of Cullman and resident of Fairhope, passed away July 19, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James G Johnston; a son, James G. Johnston lll and a daughter-in-law, Janet Lynn Johnston.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Johnston of Fairhope and Lisa (Russell) Hicks of Fairhope; a son, Michael (Katherine) Johnston of Fairhope; six grandchildren, James G Johnston IV, Patrick Johnston, Andrew Johnston, Caleb Johnston, Thomas Hicks and Kealee Johnston; and four great-grandchildren, Janet Johnston, Vera Schjott, Luke Johnston and Alex Johnston.
Funeral services for Mrs. Johnston will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at 10 a.m., from the Mack Funeral Home chapel in Robertsdale, with Dr. Jerry Henry officiating.
Interment will follow at Silverhill Cemetery.
There will be a visitation at Mack Funeral Home Monday, July 21, 2014, from 6 until 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the Johnston family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
