McCarthey-Calhoun

Jessica Lindsey Calhoun and Lt. Jason Paul McCarthey were united in marriage at the Fairhope United Methodist Church on April 14, 2012. Dr. William E. Calhoun, grandfather of the bride officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joel Keith Calhoun of Fairhope and the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. William E. Calhoun of Fairhope and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Morgan of Fairhope.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank McCarthey of Woodbridge Va., and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Robinson of Richfield Springs N.Y.; and the late Ms. Joan Robinson and Mrs. Joan McCarthey and the late Mr. Frank McCarthey of Brielle N.J.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister Jennifer Myrick as matron of honor and her sister Anna Calhoun as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katy McCarthey and Jenny Tyrrell sisters of the groom, and Kim Holmes, Ginny Heard, Cara Payne, and Kennedy Bedford as her Junior bridesmaid.

Attending the groom as best man was Jim Montague. Groomsmen were Liam Tyrrell, Evan Myrick, John Poley and Jesse Harms.

The flower girls were Carson Leigh Myrick niece of the bride and Merritt Holmes. Attending as ring bearer was Logan Sheridan cousin of the bride.

A reception followed at The Fairhope Inn. The couple will reside in Virginia Beach, Va.
