ROBERTSDALE, Ala. — Ann and Kenny McDuffie celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on Feb. 19, 2011 with 70-plus family and friends.
The reception at the family life center of Woodridge Baptist Church in Mobile was given by their daughter, Melanie (Mark) Alford of Mobile and two sons, Ken (Shumaine) McDuffie of Mandeville, La. and Steve (Cindy) McDuffie of Mobile, and their seven grandchildren.
A video from their wedding and a slide show of more than 700 pictures of the couple, family and friends, old and new, was shown.
Ansley Alford, their 14-year-old granddaughter from Mobile, sang “From This Moment On.”
Kris McDuffie, Ann and Kenny’s oldest grandchild from Mandeville was scheduled to sing but was unable to attend due to illness.
The happy couple were married on Feb. 17, 1961 at Sage Avenue Baptist Church in Mobile.
Kenny and Ann now reside in Robertsdale.
