Joe and Kirksey McIntosh of Daphne announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth McIntosh of Daphne and Bethesda, Md., to Harish Chawla of Rockville, Md., the son of Bharat and Lata Chawla of Bombay, India.
The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of McGill-Toolen High School and a 2003 graduate of Spring Hill College.
She is a medical student at Georgetown University and will graduate in May 2009.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of the University of Maryland.
He works at Logic Tree.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. Nov. 8, 2008 at Saint Joseph Chapel on the campus of Spring Hill College in Mobile.
