Marvin Jesse McMillan, 76, a resident of the Crossroads community of Bay Minette, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 at his residence.
He was a self-employed baker and a member of the Durant Chapel Baptist Church; a life-member of D.A.V. and the VFW; and a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife Lois Williamson McMillan of Crossroads; son, Terry Wayne McMillan of Crossroads; two daughters, Susan Taylor and Linda Roland, both of Bay Minette; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron McGhee officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery. Military honors will be rendered by U.S. Army Honor Guard.
The pallbearers are Brian Johnson, Timothy McMillan, James Marvin McMillan, Jamie Clegg, Timothy McMillan Jr. and Levi McMillan.
Arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
