FOLEY — Alabama State Rep. Steve McMillan will speak in Foley next week.
South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 29, at Foley Civic Center. McMillan will address attendees at noon to discuss current legislative issues.
“Rep. McMillan will offer our members a glimpse into pending legislation that could affect our area,” Donna Watts, Chamber president/CEO said. “This will be an extremely informative luncheon our members will not want to miss.”
This is not McMillan’s first time speaking in Foley.
“He’s addressed the membership on an annual trip,” Watts said.
She added that the legislator attracts a crowd on those trips.
“We usually have around 150,” Watts said.
Tickets purchased by calling 251-943-3291 or visiting SouthBaldwinChamber.com by Friday are $12 each. After that point, they will be $15 each. However, tickets will not be available at the door.
