Carrie Elizabeth McMillian, 64, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 in Bay Minette.
She was a native and resident of Bay Minette for most of her life. She was a member of the Styx River Camp Ground Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Cinderella Brown and a sister, Flossie McMillian.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Edward McMillian of Pine Grove; a son, Eddie Eugene McMillian of Union Springs; eight daughters, Monette (Darrell) Baker of Stapleton, Karen (Steve) Biggs of Robertsdale, Paula Bankster of Mobile, Tammy (Barton Mitchell of Mobile, Pam (Eddie) Hall of Bay Minette, Marsha Johnson of Mobile, Rebecca (Rick) Cowan of South Dakota and Donna Mitchem of Stapleton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, James (Bonnie) Brown, Elvin (Hester) Brown and Fred Brown, all of White House Fork; and a sister, Helen (Bunk) Lister of Creola.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 27 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 28 at White Cemetery with the Rev. Bonnie Howard officiating. Pallbearers are Barton Mitchell, Steve Biggs, Eddie Hall, Brandon Johnson, Wesley Browning and Jonathan Hadley.
