Charles Mabyn McMillian, 60, died Monday, June 1, 2009 at a Mobile Hospital.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Little River; a veteran of Viet Nam with the Marines; an employee of Gate-Precast; and attended the Little River Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Emily Montez McMillian of Little River; two sons, Jack (Ann) McMillian and William Joey Selzer, both of Little River; two daughters, Linda (Brian) Till of Molino, Fla., and Glenda Stewart of Little River; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth (Bobby) Emmons of Little River.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 4at the Little River Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Thorpe, the Rev. Buddy Williams and the Rev. Wayne McMillian officiating. Burial followed at Phillips Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tim Williams, Michael Booker, Nick Booker, William Brown, Ronnie Williams and Curtis Williams. Honorary pallbearers were Terry Cast, Jerry Cast, Paul Lee and Wayne Hubbard.
