DAPHNE, Ala.—Families throughout the area are invited to learn about the art, science and history of local jubilees when Supporting Educational Enrichment in Daphne’s Schools, the city’s education foundation, presents “Meet Me at the Jubilee” 6-8 p.m. July 13-16 at May Day Park.
The course is part of SEEDS’ Summer Lyceum and is open to all Baldwin County children and their parents. Highlights will include a family scavenger hunt, seining in Mobile Bay and a Thursday night shrimp boil. Registration is $50 per family.

SEEDS is an independent, non-profit education foundation that supports programs and initiatives serving students in the five Daphne public schools—Daphne Elementary, W.J. Carroll Intermediate, Daphne East Elementary, Daphne Middle School and Daphne High School—and Christ the King Catholic School.
