Pen Air, L.A. BBQ hosts Business After Hours at 519 Events Center

ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — The Central Baldwin Chamber will host a pair of events this week, including its fourth “Ca$h Mob” event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Magnolia Blossom Café, 22667 Alabama 59 S., in Robertsdale.

“The Ca$h Mob gathers a group of people at a small, local business at a set time on a set date to help increase traffic and sales for the business,” according to a flier issued to Chamber members.

Monthly Ca$h Mobs have been staged since April, the first April 27 at Frenchies Café in Robertsdale, the second May 25 at Captain Q’s in Robertsdale and the last on June 28 at Willy T’s in Robertsdale.

As with the other three events, there will be a drawing and one lucky winner will receive a complimentary lunch from The Chamber.

After hosting two successful “Coffee with the Sheriff” events with Baldwin County Sheriff Huey “Hoss” Mack Jr., the Chamber will host a “Coffee with the Chief” event on Friday featuring Robertsdale Police Chief Brad Kendrick.

The event begins at 8 a.m. at Goo Roo’s Grill, 22175 Alabama 59 in Robertsdale. Attendees will have the opportunity to share coffee, conversation and light refreshments with Kendrick and members of the police department.

There is no cost to attend and all are welcome.
