DAPHNE, Ala.— The Alabama Public Library Service had cheduled seven meetings throughout the state in June and July to discuss the development and enhancement of library services, with the final meeting to be held in Daphne on July 22.
The meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Daphne Public Library, 2607 U.S. Highway 98.
The meetings were set up by the state library service to set the agenda for the libraries over the next five years with the input of community leaders and Alabama residents.
Attendees will be able to voice their opinions on the services currently provided by the libraries and what services libraries should provide in the future.
Meetings have already been held in Enterprise, Montgomery, Boaz and Florence. Meetings will be held next week in Hoover and Demopolis.
