Melissa Kay Dumont, born July 26, 1979 in San Francisco, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011 in Orange Beach.
She will be remembered her loving generosity, wonderful humor and her inner and outer beauty.
Survivors include her fiancé, Michael C. Pate of Gulf Shores; her mother, Sue Dumont of Madison, Miss.; sister, Elizabeth Dumont of Boulder, Colo.; her father and stepmother, Arthur and Mary Kate Shepard Dumont of Orange Beach; two brothers, Arthur IV and Charles Martin, both of Orange Beach; aunts, Cheryl Dumont and Jean (John) Savell, both of Mobile, and Kay Burghard (Joe) of Madison, Miss.; many cousins and extended family members.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. Graveside internment will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21 at Pinecrest Cemetery, Mobile.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
