Nita Horn Meyers, 55, a resident of Stapleton, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008 at the Mobile Infirmary Medical Center.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lois Broughton Horn and her brother, Tommy Horn.
Survivors include two children, Brandon Trent (Kim) Meyers of Mobile and Christina Louise Meyers (Gary) Keziah of Charlotte, N.C.; three sisters, Geraldine Horn of Bay Minette; Toni Horn Bush of Natchitoches, La., and Tracy Horn Sheppard of Buford, S.C.; and four grandchildren, John Thomas Meyers, Hattie Sullivan Meyers, Brandon George Meyers and Charitty Cheyenne Keziah.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 4 at Durant Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Wade officiating. Burial followed at Durant Chapel Cemetery.
The pallbearers were Tommy “T3” Horn, Steven Meyers, Travis Carver, Bobby Bishop, Scott Childress and Jared Hawkshead.

Arrangements were made by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
