Michael Alexander Morouse, 82, of Shelby Township, Mich., died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010.

He was a choir member at St. Daniel’s Church in Clarkston, Mich., and St. Anne’s in Ortonville, Mich. He was a member of the Sail and Power Squadron in Fairhope and the Jubilee Pickers.

He was a high school teacher at Lincoln High School and a professional wedding photographer.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Morouse; four children, Dr. Michelle Morouse, Mona Morouse, Katie (Ralph) Armenta and Alex (Megan) Morouse; an d three grandchildren, Paul, Helen, and Nicholas.

Funeral mass was held at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Rochester, Mich. Interment followed at Christian Memorial Cemetery.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
