Michael M. Heinze, 72 a native of Yorba Linda, Calif., and a resident of Silverhill, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010.
He served in the U.S. Navy, retired from Shell Oil and retired in Alabama.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Heinze of Silverhill; two sons, Robert (Patricia) Heinze of Chicago and David (Dana) Heinze of Florence; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara and Don Sharp of Silverhill; three grandchildren, Kelsy, Katherine and Michaela.
Funeral services and visitation were held Thursday, Oct. 7 from the chapel of Mack Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Gillis officiating.
Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Robertsdale.
