Harry L. Michels, 81, a native of Ocala, Fla., and a resident of Fairhope for the past 20 years, died Saturday, March 29, 2008 at a local healthcare facility.
He was a retired chemical engineer and a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Michels of Fairhope; three sons, Mark Michels of Fairhope, Kurt Michels of Visalia, Calif., and Doug Michels of Visalia, Calif.; brother, Tom Michels of Dunlap, Tenn.; sister, Jean Floyd of Lake City, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are by Hughes Cremation & Funeral Service, Daphne.
