The Michigan Club held its first meeting of the 2012 year Jan. 5
at the Erie Meyer Center in Gulf Shores.
Approximately 475 members were in attendance. The meeting started with the presentation of the colors by the Jr. Navy ROTC from Gulf Shores High School followed by the pledge of allegiance to the Flag.
Grant Brown and Blake Phelps brought greetings from the City of Gulf Shores and shared information about many activities. The speaker was Patti Hall from the Gulf Shores Zoo and she presented a video and program about the new zoo that is under construction. Meeting attendees were given information about future Club activities and the meeting concluded with door prizes given by
many local merchants.
The next Club meeting will be Jan. 19 at the Erie Meyer Center. Doors open at 8:30 a.m., coffee & donuts at 9:15 and the meetings starts at 10 am. The entertainment will be by the 3 Grits.

Jan. 10 - Club Luncheon at Bubba’s in Orange Beach at 11:30 am.
Jan. 25 – Michigan Club dinner at Ribs & Reds in Gulf Shores from 6-9 p.m.
Jan. 26 – Casino trip to Isle of Capri
Jan. 31 – Club Luncheon at Ryan’s in Foley at 12:30 p.m.
