Matilda Jean Middleton, 67, born Aug. 22, 1942 in Wilmington, N.C., died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 in Loxley.
She retired from the New Hanover County Department of Aging.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys Garvey and John Clive Moore.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Middleton and Brian (Chandra) Middleton, both of Loxley; two brothers, Joe (Lois) Moore of Wilmington and Billy (Cassie) Moore of Jacksonville, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10 at Oakdale Cemetery in Wilmington, N.C. with the Rev. Eugene Ridley officiating.
Arrangements are by Village Road Memorial Chapel, N.C.
