Mildred Nelson Witherington, age 85, a native of Fairhope and a resident of Daphne, passed away Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012.
Mrs. Witherington was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Witherington. She is survived by her daughters, Faye Witherington and Lynn Sanders, both of Daphne; her grandchildren, Rick (Raquel Allen) Witherington, Cassie Witherington, all of Daphne; Tisha Conklan of Ozark; seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne, Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the service time.
