Lauren Miles of Spanish Fort and Jeff Butts of Raleigh, N.C., were united in marriage May 31, 2008 at Spanish Fort United Methodist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Debbie Miles and Doug Miles of Spanish Fort.
She is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in elementary education.
The bridegroom is the son of Liz Butts and Frank Butts of Carrollton, Ga.
He is a construction superintendent with Scenic Homes.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Doug Miles.
Lindsey Richardson, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Abby Wright of Auburn, Caitlin Cross of Nashville, Tenn., Katie Brown of Starkville, Miss., Sarah Butts of Carrollton, Ga., and Alison Walker of Louisvile, Miss.
Frank Butts, father of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Grant Lengefeld of Hamilton, Texas, Josh Abraham of Belden, Miss., Saunders Ramsey of Collierville, Tenn., Matthew Keith of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Matt Barber of Daphne.
Ring bearer was Caleb Langefeld. Flower girl was Sydney Langefeld.
Ushers were Joseph Crawford of Killeen, Texas, Jon Langefeld of Hamilton, Texas, Jared Myrick of Spanish Fort, Chris Walker of Moody and Daniel Wright of Auburn.
A reception at the Lake Forest Yacht Club followed the ceremony.
After a wedding trip to Antigua, the couple will reside in Fuquay-Varina, N.C.
