Leona M. Miller, 91, a former resident of Fayston, Vt., and a resdient of Foley, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at home, surrounded by loved ones.
She was known by all as Granny,
In her early years she worked at Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kan., then worked as a chef and retired in Vermont. She loved being surrounded by family and working outdoors with her flowers.
Her smile and good humor will be missed and forever remembered.
She was preceded in death by her lifetime companion, W.C. Bonnell; and grandson, Terry Lee Rice.
Survivors include a daughter Shirley Johnson of Foley; son, Danny (Debbie) Bonnell of Bay Minette; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service held in Vertmont at a later date.
