Donald G. “Donnie” Miller, 53 , of Lillian, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009
He was an active member of East Brent Baptist Church where he faithfully served in the bus ministries. He was a member of Rocky Creek Hunting Club in Georgiana, an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He was a painter by trade but had the God given strength and ability to master every task.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert M. Miller; and siblings, Peggy Racine Fleming, Elba Miller and Betty Blanton.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Juanita Ann Miller; daughter, Jennifer Ann ( Bobby) Nelson; son, Joseph G. (Tiffany Lynn) Miller; grandchildren, Cade Riley Nelson, Embry Joseph Miller, Tyge Nelson, Madison Nelson and Zachary Nelson and Pappy’s “Special First” Shelby Lynn Davis; mother, Doris J. Miller; two sisters, Evelyn Kemp and Linda (Ronnie) Wright; numerous loved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23 at East Brent Baptist Church with Dr. Dale Patterson officiating.
Honorary pallbearers are Joseph G. Miller, Bobby Nelson, Jimmy Davis, Steve Joiner, Harold Helton and Randy Sanders.
Arrangements are by Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, Pensacola, Fla.
