ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — After last year's Widespread Panic weekend concerts resulted in 140 arrests, the Orange Beach Police Department was relieved to see approximately a quarter of arrests this weekend.
From Friday night to Sunday night police made only 37 arrests as a direct result of a three-day event held at The Wharf.
Assistant Police Chief Greg Duck said the arrests were related to alcohol and drugs, some being underage possession of alcohol. He also said most of those arrested were vacationers.
