SPANISH FORT, Ala.—The Girls Service Club of Spanish Fort High School  will sponsor the second annual Miss SFHS pageant, which is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 7 p.m.  at the Daphne Civic Center.

Thirty-two young ladies are competing for the crown this year, which will classify her as a role model and leader in her school and community. The judges will be looking for a natural beauty, both inside and out who has a warm and pleasant personality.  Also  to be considered is her self-confidence, intelligence and genuine respect for the role of Miss SFHS.

The areas of competition in which the girls have long been preparing for are the one-on-one interview with the judges, a self-expression routine, poise and  appearance and top 10 questioning.

There will be four runner-ups, Miss SFHS, and a Miss Congeniality (voted on by the contestants themselves).

The special guest, Miss Alabama 2007 and 2008 Miss America contestant, Jamie Langely, was the motivational and inspiring speaker at a tea with the girls; she captivated everyone with her singing/vocal talent.

Tickets  for the pageant can be bought from any GSC member or pageant contestant before the event as well as at the door for $10.
