BAY MINETTE, Ala. — The Baldwin County grand jury on Tuesday indicted former Mobile County Commissioner Stephen Nodine on counts of intentional felony murder, stalking and ethics violations, in connection with the shooting death of Angel Downs on May 9 at her Gulf Shores condo.
District attorney Judy Newcomb said Wednesday morning that a new bail of $250,000, must be posted by Nodine, and special conditions of bond will be enhanced to include house arrest with few acceptions.
The ethics violations apparently involve Nodine’s use of a county vehicle for personal business in Baldwin County.
