Mr. and Mrs. Max Mobley of Abbeville announce the engagement of their daughter, Julianna Mobley, to Lyle Keith Cooper II, son of Dr. and Mrs. Lyle Cooper of Gulf Shores.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Jack Mobley, the late George and Emma Clenney, the late Henry Watford, and Lula Watford, all of Abbeville.
She is a graduate of Headland High School and a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She also received her Master of Education degree from Auburn University. She serves as the youth minister at Gulf Shores United Methodist Church in Gulf Shores and in June of this year she was ordained as a deacon in the United Methodist Church.
The prospective bride-groom is grandson of Peggy Hart of Theodore, Payton Taylor of Foley, Eunice Cooper of Pensacola, Fla., Dr. and Mrs. Keith Cooper of Robertsdale.
He is a graduate of Gulf Shores High School and a graduate of the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. He is pursuing a graduate degree in mental health counseling at Capella University.
The couple will exchange vows Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 in Gulf Shores.
