ATLANTA—Moe’s Original Bar B Que held its grand opening Thursday at 6423 Bayfront Park Drive in Daphne. Moe’s features Bama-style pulled pork, racks of ribs, and chicken smoked over hard wood served with two sauces plus eight to 10 traditional Southern sides and desserts. Open daily for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., the restaurant also offers large party takeout orders, full service catering and delivery.

Moe’s Original Bar B Que was founded in 2001 in Vail, Colo., by three Alabamians, Mike Fernandez from Tuscaloosa, Ben Gilbert from Athens, and Jeff Kennedy from Huntsville. Moe’s Original BBQ smokes all meat fresh daily. Today Moe’s has locations in Denver, Eagle and Vail, Colo., Orange Beach, Vestavia Hills and Birmingham, Ala. Additionally, the Moe’s group runs a school-lunch program in Vail.
