Charles Andrew Moesch, 77, born Nov. 28, 1931 in Pascagula, Miss., former resident of Silverhill and a longtime resident of Fayetteville, Ga., died Monday, Sept. 14, 2009 surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with kidney cancer.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He loved his family, friends and fishing was his passion.
He will be missed by so many, who all loved him dearly. May he rest in peace in Heaven, with Our Heavenly Father.
Survivors include his loving wife, Joyce Moesch; six daughters, Susan Moesch Johannesmann of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Vickie Moesch Stanford of Summerdale, Loretta Moesch Childress of Fairhope, Sherry Simons of Fayetteville, Ga., Ginger Jarrett of Fayetteville, Ga., and Kathy Dempsey of Fayetteville, Ga.; 12 grandchildren, Anthony, Rachel, Noah and Dakota Johannesmann, Dustin Moesch, Emily Childress, Shannon Blackerby, Joy DeLay, Wesly and Wendy Simons, Kim and Karla Dempsey; brother, W.A. Moesch; and two sisters: Mary Louise and Betty Jean Moesch.
Memorial and funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 16 in Fayetteville, Ga.
Honorary paulbearers were his grandsons.
