E.E. “Gator” Moore, 55, a native of Pensacola, Fla., and a resident of Fairhope, died Sunday, April 6, 2008.
He was a former jockey, racing quarter horses and thoroughbreds.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Terrill of Fairhope; four sons, David Bryant of Gastonia, N.C., Eddie Moore of Magnolia Springs, Patrick Moore of Elsanor and Chris Mattox of Ennis, Texas; two daughters, Hillary Moore of the Virgin Islands and Holly Moore of Lucedale, Miss.; three sisters, Pearl Polk of Cantonment, Fla., Ann Cole of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Nancy Davison of Summerdale; four brothers, John Moore of Milton, Fla., Mark Moore of Rockford, Richard Moore of Munson, Fla., and Jimbo Moore of Elsanor; and six grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 13.
