Emmett Earl Moore, 72, a native of Foley and a resident of Fairhope, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008.
He was preceded in death by a son, Emmett E. Moore, Jr., parents, Charles and Grace Moore; a brother, Edward Moore; and a sister, Hazel Snyder.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Moore of Fairhope; four sons, Charles Moore of Birmingham, Larry Moore of North Carolina, James Moore of Georgia, and John Mark Moore of Fairhope; daughter, Darlene Burke of Fairhope; three brothers, Kenny Moore of Foley, Donnie Moore of Gulf Shores and Norman Moore of Foley; sister, Mary Anne Moore of Foley; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4 at Wesleyan Church, Magnolia Springs. Interment will follow at Brook-Cedron Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Hephzibah Children’s Home or Missions through Magnolia Springs Wesleyan Church.
